TMHS Open Team Town
Team Mental Health Services was thrilled to have the grand opening of Team Town on Monday, September 17th in historic Eastern Market! Team Town is a resource for Consumers who may experience crisis, difficult problems, or who may want to socialize after traditional clinic hours in a safe, secure place. This unique program—the first of its kind in Michigan—offers exciting services like 24/7 access, Chase banking and money management education, a computer lab, yoga classes, free legal counseling and more. Stop by our Eastern Market location and find out what Team Town is all about!

The event will be held on February 21st, 2013 at Palazzo di Bocce in Orion, Michigan from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

On February 28, 2013 Team Mental Health Services will be hosting a breakfast and workshop on adult foster care. The event will be held at our Eastern Market facility from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

TMHS Annual All-Staff Meeting Will Have A Very Special Guest
Ted Williams is an American voice-over artist from Columbus, Ohio who gained immediate worldwide media attention in January 2011 when an interview he made went viral after being posted to YouTube.
Immediately following the viral explosion on YouTube, Williams appeared on Today, doing the lead-in voice over. Williams was also hired to be the voice behind Kraft Foods' new TV campaign, which launched on ESPN during the 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl on January 9.
In May 2011, Williams’ biography written with New York Times bestselling author Bret Witter, “A Golden Voice | Ted Williams | How Faith, Hard Work, and Humility Brought Me from the Streets to Salvation was published by Penguin books.
In keeping with his commitment to provide new mattresses for every homeless shelter in the City of Columbus, Williams founded The Ted Williams Project, a not-for-profit company to give back to his roots.
He is currently employed as a voice over artist with Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and is a sought after speaker on the issue of homelessness. Williams filmed a reality show pilot and is currently in negotiations with major cable networks for the “Ted Williams Last Chance program”.
On March 28, 2013 Ted Williams, American voice-over artist from Columbus, Ohio will be the special guest of Team Mental Health Services.
